Facilities

Our electric and water and electric, water and sewer sites are spacious and level. All sites have 30/50 amp service, a fire ring and picnic table. Cable is available.

Tenting Areas

For those who enjoy Classic camping, whether with a tent, tent trailer or Tee Pee, Pinewood has two tenting areas which allow for natural, “Bare Boned”, no hook-up camping. They are positioned so that the rest room, shower and laundry facilities are within a very short walk. Each tent site has a stone fireplace as well as a picnic table and there is a dish/pot washing sink nearby with fresh drinking water. We also offer other tent sites with electricity and water.

Rentals Units

Pinewood Lodge has added to its selection of rental accommodations. If you are new to camping, or simply seek to stay in something which is more like home, one of our rental units might perfectly suit your tastes.

Yurts – include a futon, bunk bed, table and chairs. Electricity included.

Two-room Log Cabins include 1 full size bed and 1 bunk bed, an efficiency kitchen, toilet/shower, cable TV and a porch.

Deluxe Cabins include 1 full size bed and 1 bunk bed and a futon, kitchen, living area, bathroom, cable TV, and AC/heater.

Lakeside Cottage includes a full kitchen, full bath, 1 full size / twin bunk bed, AC/heater and cable TV. Off the back of the cabin is a screened porch which overlooks Pinewood Lake.

Lake House includes full kitchen,1 & ½ baths, 2 bedroom, living room, heat and cable TV. The view of Pinewood Lake from the living room is spectacular. Please note ~ Offsite parking

All rentals include an outdoor charcoal grill, some cookware and utensils, as well as an outdoor picnic table and fireplace. Linens must be brought from home (or may be rented for a nominal fee.)

Pinewood Lodge

Pinewood Lodge itself is a warm, rustic structure, built of knotty pine which was salvaged from the destructive hurricanes of 1938 and 1942. Since its “Grand Opening” back in 1952, the lodge has hosted a steady stream of memorable events. A beautiful field-stone fireplace is the centerpiece of our main banquet room, accommodating up to 100 people, with additional seating in the adjoining restaurant and cocktail lounge. From a simple cookout or company outing, to more formal class reunions, weddings and receptions, each event enjoys access to our full range of facilities and amenities.
